The attention of the Ondo State Government has been drawn to a trending report and image claiming that an “Ondo Governor’s Aide” has been arrested over alleged possession of illicit drugs and firearms.
For the record, the young man in the report is not an aide to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. He holds no political appointment in this administration.
We urge the Nigeria Police Force to investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure that due process is followed in accordance with the law.
