As Nigeria’s Super Eagles and South Africa’s Bafana Bafana play Tuesday’s crucial World Cup qualifier, fans on X (Formerly Twitter)are already debating the starting line-ups, with opinions split across both nations.
Teecrypt (@Haywhyoooo) questioned Chelle’s attack, asking, “Why will he start Dessers over Arokodare in an important match like this? No right winger too. Does this man even know work at all?”
Meanwhile, K by Kristel (@KristelBy38900) defended the selection: “Ekong has that experience in handling big games. They’d definitely try to give Tolu Arokodare an injury… so he’d come in as a super sub. Dessers knows he has to deliver at all cost! Solid lineup. Let’s goooo.”
Some fans were concerned about absent stars. Wudy (@crypticwudy1) wrote, “Why is Osihmen not here? Please I don’t want anything to hinder the qualifications of Super Eagles. The coach should have known better.”
