The Oloja of Ayede Laleepa in Ileoluji, His Royal Highness, Kabiyesi Adesile Akinfadeyan, his chiefs and the people of the community have expressed appreciation to the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for the appointment of Rt. Hon. Bimbo Fajolu as Special Assistant to the Governor.
The community described the appointment as timely and well deserved, saying it reflects the Governor’s recognition of individuals with proven grassroots connection, experience and commitment to public service.
Speaking on behalf of the community, the Oloja, alongside his chiefs, including Chief Johnson Adeyeye (Ladegbaye), Chief Kayode Ojo (Lisa Jigan) and Hon. Akintoye Openiyi, described Rt. Hon. Fajolu as an astute grassroots politician who has consistently demonstrated dedication to the development and unity of Ileoluji.
They noted that his wealth of experience as a former Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, coupled with his contributions to the progress of the people, has positioned him as a valuable asset to the administration.
The community said the appointment has fulfilled a long-standing expectation, describing Rt. Hon. Fajolu as a “round peg in a round hole.” According to them, his knowledge of grassroots politics, experience in governance and understanding of the aspirations of the people would enable him to contribute meaningfully to the success of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration. They expressed confidence that he would justify the confidence reposed in him by the Governor and deliver results in his new assignment.
The Oloja, his chiefs and the entire people of Ayede Laleepa therefore pledged their continued support and cooperation to the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa. They assured the Governor that the community would continue to stand with his government in its efforts to advance development across Ondo State, while congratulating Rt. Hon. Bimbo Fajolu and wishing him success in his new responsibility.
